1. Click on the Start Icon at the bottom left corner of your screen.

2. Go to Programs, the Internet Explorer then Connection Wizard.

3. Click the circle that reads I have an existing Internet Account. Click Next.

4. Click the circle that reads Using an Internet Service Provider. Click Next.

5. Click on the circle that reads Using my Phone Line. Click Next.

6. Click on the circle that reads Create a new dial up Connection. Click Next.

7. The title of this page should be Phone Number. Enter the phone number for your area. 308-4100 (Rolla),774-2606(Ft. Wood, St. Roberts, Waynesville); 765-7891(Richland); 729-3217(Salem); 674-4913(Licking)762-9603(Newburg, Doolittle, Jerome) or 532-1100(Lebanon). Click Next.

8. The title of this page should be User Name and Password. Enter your full e-mail address using the username that you chose at the time of sign-up making sure that it is all one word and all in lowercase letters. E.g. joesmith@wavecomputers.net Then enter the password that you chose at the time of sign-up. Again make sure it is in all lowercase letters. Be sure your CAP lock button is off. Click Next.

9. The next page will be Advanced Settings. Choose No. Click Next.

10. The next page will be a friendly name. It should say Connection to (the phone number for your area)..

11. The next page will be Set Up Your Internet Mail Account, choose Yes. Click Next

12. Internet Mail Account. Choose Create a new Internet Mail Account. Click Next.

13. Your Name. Type in your full name Eg. Joe Smith. Click Next.

14. Internet E-Mail Address. In the space type in username@wavecomputers.net using the username that you chose at the time of sign up. Eg. joe@wavecomputers.net Click Next.

15. E-Mail Server Name. Make sure it says, My incoming mail server is a POP3 Server. Click Next.

16. The next page will read Incoming Mail (POP# or IMAP Server) and Outgoing Mail (SMTP Server), type in mail.wavecomputers.net for both. Click Next.

17. Internet Mail Logon. In the spaces that begin with Log on Using; type in your username and then your password. Click Next.

18. Friendly Name. It should already be filled in with mail.wavecomputers.net. Click Next.

19. Set Up Your Internet News Account. It will ask, “Do you want to set up and Internet News Account Now?” Choose Yes. Click Next.

20. Your Name. It should already have your name entered in the space. Click Next.

21. Internet News E-Mail Address. Your e-mail address should already appear in the space. Click Next.

22. Internet News Server Name. Type in news@wavecomputers.net click Next.

23. FriendlyName. It should read news@wavecomputers.net click Next.

24. Set Up Your Internet Directory Service. Choose No. Click Next.

25. Complete Configuration Click on Finish.

26. Now you should be back to your Windows 98 or 95 Screen. Click on the Internet or Internet Explorer Icon and then click connect.
