1. From the Windows 95 desktop, click on Start.

2. Go to Programs, then Accessories and click on Internet Tools.

3. Click on Internet Connection or Wizard.

4. There is no information to enter on this screen. Click Next.

5. This screen will be your Setup Options screen. Click on Manual then Next.

6. This will be the Welcome Screen. There is no information to enter here. Click Next.

7. On this screen select, I use a modem or a phone line to connect to the internet. Click Next.

8. On this screen click Yes to use Windows messaging. Click Next.

9. This screen will tell you that it is installing files and you may be prompted for your Windows 95 CD. Click Next and insert your Windows 95 CD if needed.

10. The next screen will ask you for your Internet Provider Information. Enter Wave Internet Technologies Click Next.

11. This screen will need the area code and phone number. Enter the phone number for your area. 308-4100(Rolla),774-2606(Ft. Wood, St. Roberts, Waynesville); 765-7891(Richland); 729-3217(Salem); 674-4913(Licking)762-9603(Newburg,doolittle,Jerome) or 532-1100(Lebanon). After entering the numbers click Next.

12. This screen will need your username and password that you chose at the time of sign up. Type in your full e-mail address for the username (using the username that you chose) and enter the password making sure that they are in all lower- case letters. Click Next.

13. This screen will ask how do you obtain your IP address. Click on My Internet Provider Automatically assigns me one. Click Next.

14. Enter the DNS numbers. The Primary DNS is 208.18.50.5 ; The Alternate DNS is 204.117.214.10 ; Click Next.

15. This screen will ask you if you want to use internet mail, click Yes and then enter your e-mail address. It will be your username@wavecomputers.net (all lowercase)

16. Enter the Internet mail server . It is mail.wavecomputers.net (all lowercase). Click Next.

17. On the Windows messaging profile there is no information to enter. Click Next.

18. Click Finish and return to your Windows 95 desktop.

19. You should see an icon on your desktop of a little globe with a magnifying glass that reads The Internet of Internet Explorer. Double click on this icon.

20. You will see a screen that shows your username and password. If needed type in password and hit Connect.


This should start the modem dialing and connect you to the internet.
